 CASA SABATER

FRAN SILVESTRE ARQUITECTOS

Casa Sabater, designed by Fran Silvestre Arquitectos, is a striking zigzag-shaped residence nestled into the steep slopes of Alicante, Spain. At 780 m², the project stands out for its bold architecture and seamless integration with the surrounding mountainous landscape.

The house is comprised of three distinct volumes that interconnect fluidly, creating a unique spatial experience. The first volume, located at the highest point of the hill, appears to float in mid-air, offering stunning panoramic views of the landscape. The second volume is firmly anchored to the ground level, providing a stable and solid base. Finally, the third volume extends partially buried into the terrain, creating a walkable surface that opens up to the natural surroundings.

The geometry of the house harmoniously follows the slope of the hillside, resulting in a visual dynamic that combines aesthetics and
functionality in an impressive way. The presence of a swimming pool, strategically positioned at one end of the linear volume, complements the design by offering a leisure space that integrates perfectly with the natural environment.
